Its major requires 20 courses carrying 19.5 Yale credits beyond prerequisites. That figure describes the major, not the entire bachelor’s degree, and should not be read as ordinary semester credit hours.

The BS senior requirement uses MENG 4137L and MENG 4138L. Three technical electives require selection with the director of undergraduate studies, and at most one special-project course may count toward that elective requirement. If you want to combine engineering with another academic interest, take a proposed four-year schedule to the department and ask where the flexibility sits. The name of the university alone does not answer that scheduling question.

Applied Measurements and Data Analysis and Junior Design provide identifiable preparation for the senior project.
