Transfer preparation and the ECE continuation rule

UNH’s current transfer guidance recommends a cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher for CEPS applicants. Electrical students whose cumulative ECE GPA is below 2.0 during any three semesters cannot continue in the major under the published rule. Graduation requires a 2.0 GPA across ECE and CS courses. Transfers also need at least thirty-two credits in residence at UNH, and foundational gaps can extend the remaining schedule despite previously earned college credits.
